The International House is home to some 400 students who come from 20 different countries worldwide. Here, everyone finds the understanding and encouragement that he or she needs to make a smooth transition into a new culture, succeed in the academic subjects, participate in the fun-filled extracurricular life at Lehman, and meet the rigorous high school graduation requirements. A special emphasis is placed on keeping alive and safeguarding the multitude of traditions and cultural identities that our student body represents, as well as promoting inter-ethnic awareness, mutual trust and respect for all.

Group Announcements  International House Winter GatheringThe International House celebrated it's annual Winter Gathering along with the students and teachers in the library's main room. It was an afternoon of celebration as students performed dances from their original countries and received recognition for outstanding work!
The International House ChronicleWe will be launching our first edition of the Fall Issue of the International House Chronicle in December. If you have a piece you would like to have included, please stop by the house office ( Rm 135) to submit it.
International House Student of the MonthDo you have what it takes to become the student of the month for our house? All you have to do is come by the International House office during your lunch period and fill out a profile card to become elegible.
